I carry out attachment and family assessments that build a full understanding of family history and relationships. The assessments give an in-depth analysis of individual and family functioning, and they show what kind of help is likely to work.

Why assess attachment?

To help someone well, we first need to understand how they process information, and how things came to be the way they are. This understanding informs the intervention. Without it, interventions are likely to be ineffective.

Attachment-based interventions

An assessment is often the first step. Based on what we learn, I offer attachment-based interventions for individuals and families. The aim is to build on strengths and to help change patterns in relationships.

Training and experience

I hold an MSc in Attachment Studies from the University of Roehampton, and I have over 25 years' experience as a psychotherapist. I am a BACP registered member and an NCPS accredited registrant. I have an enhanced criminal records check, and I am fully insured.
